The 2010 is about to finish, we plan to do an action without precedent in the history of Monsunity. The Humanoid City Tour left with too many empty seats on its way through Europe and the sales did not respond all that was expected. From this Social Network for Fans, we want to launch a project which you are the key players and it may will have important consequences.
Of what does it consist?
We have proposed to do a gift to Tokio Hotel and it is not different that to put to the band in the iTunes TOP with the song “Jung Und Nicht Mehr Jugendfrei” of his first album “Schrei“.
How can I collaborate?
Of many ways.
The first one is buying the song on iTunes. You will have to bring in on the page of iTunes (writing “apple itunes” on Google), download the program and register. When you are inside write in the searcher “Tokio Hotel Jung” and will appear the song “Jung Und Nicht Mehr Jugendfrei”. The price is 99 cents.
The previous point is the basic collaboration, butis not enough. Whether you buy the song or not, you have to help spreading this message. We will try to expand this idea as quickly as possible. Publish it on your Facebook, Twitter, blog, web forum of which you are diligent or pass the message via SMS to your closests friends.
Monsunity has members from many countries, not only in Spain, and the idea is that try to spread this message, either in Italy, Portugal, France, Poland, Austria, Germany, Russia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia ... etc, Not matter the country you are from.
Why "Jung Und Nicht Mehr Jugendfrei" and not another?
At first we think of "Durch Den Monsun" but the price is 1.29 €, so we decided to take "Jung Und Nicht Mehr Jugendfrei" we thing that it has much meaning and was the song used in the first tour group as the opening song.
On the other hand, choosing a theme from the first album that is not included in the "Best Of" is a way of keeping alive the essence of the group and show that we remain faithful to the roots aside now or fashion.
Besides, no one expect that a song that was published five years ago could enter the TOP of iTunes so if we finally get it, the group will be totally surprised!
Have you gone mad?
Absolutely not. Two years ago, when we began to spin to the creation of a social network exclusively for fans of Tokio Hotel, a lot of people branded us as crazy on many occasions. Also same thing happened when we decided to launch MonsunityShop. What once seemed crazy, today is a reality.
Fans of Tokio Hotel are made of a special wood and if we have let them win all the awards that they have been nominated on the internet, why do not we do something similar on our own initiative? Can you think for a moment of the faces that Gustav, Georg, Tom & Bill will get if it reaches to they ears that they have entered the TOP of iTunes with the theme "Jung Und Nicht Mehr Jugendfrei?
